We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea Gillespie and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrea, what do you want your legacy to be?
“Legacy is not leaving something for people. It’s leaving something in people” -Peter Strople

It isn’t about the business you are in or the sport you coach, those are the tools. It is always, first and foremost about the people.
Leaving each encounter better than you found it.

I want to be remembered by how I impacted people; not in big ways, but in small everyday details that left them knowing I cared.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a family owned and operated business that specializes in the process and manufacturing of custom agricultural related products for other businesses. We have the capability to blend, pellet, crumble, bag, tote, and warehouse custom formulations. This can be for livestock feed, all-natural fertilizer, seed mix, and a plethora of other natural grain or grain biproducts. If a business has a new product they want to produce they can come to us for assistance. If a business is unable to keep up with demand and needs assistance meeting their production needs, they come to us to bridge the gap in their production. If a business has a biproduct they are able to market we can provide service in that.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am third generation managing our family business in Agriculture. The shoutout goes out to 1) The generations before me that led with a legacy of hard work, trust, and strong family values. 2) The people that have come along side all along the way and have become family in the process. 3) The next generation that is already driving the same legacy forward and keeps me excited for the future.
